Braids are beautiful, low-maintenance, and a great protective style—but they still need care! Here’s how to keep them fresh and lasting longer:

  • Moisturize regularly: Use a braid spray or light leave-in conditioner. Focus on the scalp and roots.

  • Cleanse gently: Wash your scalp every 2–3 weeks with diluted shampoo to avoid buildup.

  • Protect at night: Wrap your hair with a satin scarf or bonnet to prevent frizz.

  • Avoid tight styles: Don’t pull braids too tight when styling—protect your edges!

  • Don’t keep them in too long: 6–8 weeks is ideal to prevent breakage.

Pro tip: Use a lightweight oil like jojoba to keep your scalp nourished!
