ARE YOU READY

for A NEW AND BETTER YOU?
CARING FOR YOUR BRAIDS

Silk or satin scarf wrapped around your head at night keeps your braids neat(avoid using cotton as it draws out your braids' natural oil).

Treat your scalp to an invigorating fingertip massage using scalp oil and moisturise every other day.

The more you moisturise, the more build up will occur. Therefore, its best to shampoo and deep condition your braided hair every 3-4 weeks.

To keep your braids looking fresh, you can always re-braid the first few rows in the front.

TAKING BRAIDS OUT

Never leave your braids in for too long. 6-8 weeks is ideal, but 12 weeks is the max for me.

Don't wait to have all the braids out to begin de-tangling. De-tangling as you go  will cut down on more tangles, knots and breakage.

Never wash your hair after taking out the braids without de-tangling first.

Lots of shedding should be expected because you haven't combed your hair in weeks! Don't freak out!!!
